My name is Merelyn Carter. Music and Performing is my passion, my job, my dream, my hobby, my life. 

I currently perform as half of Carter & Carter, Golden Guitar winning Country Artists, experiencing success in Australia and overseas.  Three times CMAA Independent Artists of the Year, APRA Award winners for Most Performed Country Work 2004 and proud to have 6 national #1 hits on country music radio and 3 multi award winning albums.  My partner in life and music is David Carter.  You may have seen us on television or heard us on the radio.

I love life.  I love stories about life.

Fifteen years in the entertainment industry has taught me a lot about finding my potential, following my dream, balancing family and work, dealing with people, about abundant and not quite so abundant times.  I’ve travelled Australia and overseas and I’ve met some of the most interesting people and listened to their stories, all of which have had a big impact on my life.

I’ve been married, divorced and married again, I have two beautiful grown up girls, and I have lived through many heartaches, disappointments, dysfunctional family relationships, single motherhood, a touch of fame and many soul searching years to find my potential.  I have gained many tools along the way, and now I am sharing my insights, my inspirations and my tools to empower women to find their own fulfilment and potential in life.
