'Dancing
Shoes' is the fifth single to be released from
the new album and follows the incredible success of 'Easy
Making love', 'Candlelight and Kisses', 'Lead Me Home'
and 'Busy Man'
(which is still riding high in the charts nationally).
A video clip
to support the single will be released next week, and
features local talent from Merelyn and David's home town
Melbourne, and was filmed at the local high school
performing arts centre utilizing senior media students as
assistants, together with dancers from the local dance
school and young aspiring actors.
"It
was great to be able to produce this clip ourselves, as the
song is very special to us. We are fortunate to be
surrounded by extremely talented young people, and with a
song that touches your heart in this way, it seemed really
fitting that we should include them in our clip.
Director Jon Luscombe and DOP Steve Thompson helped
cement it all together, and we are really happy with the
result. All the kids were so excited to be part of it
and their enthusiasm added that special something to the
